The AFFW Next Gens have been invited to host a wine tasting evening for the young members of the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC). Founded in 1838, the MCC is one of Australia’s oldest sports club where those who wish to join can wait for over 20 years.
The MCC Young Members Club, run by a committee of young professionals, create events throughout the season where new members can network and socialise with like-minded people.
This year the AFFW Next Gens will take the young members on a journey through their family vineyards, showcasing some of their favourite wines and telling the family tales behind them.
Katherine Brown, the Next Gen chairperson, will speak to the group about AFFW, Next Gens and why family-owned wineries are so important on the Australian wine landscape.
If you are a member or know someone who is, come along, taste, talk and learn from some of the most loved and respected names in Australian wine.
