Whilst we are all about our own families, we are an inclusive bunch.
To this end, our collaboration and co-operation goes beyond just family members – to our extended families – our staff.
Next week, each family is sending one of their viticultural teams to the Barossa in South Australia for the first of our Field Days.
Hosted by Yalumba and Henschke, this inaugural event will be an intensive two day workshop; learning, sharing and continuing to build the coterie feel to AFFW.
Starting with a full day at the AWRI on Thursday, hosted by Louisa Rose, Head of Winemaking at Yalumba, the group will spend Friday in the Barossa learning about what Yalumba do in their nursery and becoming immersed in Prue Henschke’s famous composting program amongst many other learning experiences.
Showing the depth of the mateship that has developed between all of the families, including the Next Gen, this tour promises to be an annual event that could evolve and develop as time goes by.
Keep your eyes on our social platforms as we chronicle the tour and share the love!
